Character Name: Special Agent Dana Katherine Scully, M.D.
Series: The X-Files
Birthday: February 23, 1964
Age: 32
Canon point: Season 5-6
About/History: Originally assigned to debunk paranormal FBI cases, Scully is the Spock to Mulder’s Kirk: she is a rational and logical individual, preferring to take a scientific approach to everything. She relies heavily on evidence, which often makes her job difficult; when dealing with Mulder and the X-Files, many things defy explanation. Scully’s loyalties run deep, and even when she highly doubts her partner’s feelings on a case she sticks by him and works to the very end to find the truth.
She’s been through her share of weird and inexplicable phenomena and experiences, including her own abduction(s), and with this she’s more inclined to admit when she has no rational explanation for something.
Despite her logical worldview, she wears a cross necklace daily. She grew up in the Catholic church and prays at times, but religion serves as a kind of sense of security for her, and does not dictate ways in which she lives her life. Her trust and respect for Mulder is unwavering in a world of uncertainty and tested loyalties.
Abilities your character possesses: Just a regular ol' badass M.D. special agent with the FBI, with mad autopsy skills. Later it's revealed that Scully's blood consisting of extraterrestrial DNA in addition to human, can work on curing illnesses. Her extraterrestrial DNA was implanted during an abduction.
Weapon of choice: Her Bureau-issue pistol, a SIG-Sauer P228.
